How to See Footsteps in Fortnite 2024 - Turn On Visual Sound Effects
4In this video I show you how to see footsteps in Fortnite 2024. When you turn on visual sound effects footsteps as well as other icons will apear on your screen. These icons appear in a circle around you and move as you turn. Allowing you to see where footsteps are coming from and helping you identify the sounds you're heading.
You can find the visual sound effects setting in the audio settings. Enabling on screen footsteps can be done on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox and Switch.
The ability to see footsteps is particularily useful during intense moments. Additionally, there may be subtle footsteps that you miss, which will appear on your screen. This setting is a great option to help improve awareness.
If at any point you no longer want to see footsteps in Fortnite then you can turn off the visual sound effects setting.
