How to Set Up a Wi-Fi Hotspot Using an Android Phone (With Password and Network Name If Needed)
You can can connect a device, like a laptop, to your Android using a wireless wifi connection (aka hot spot). If can be done quickly, but there's a slower way that lets you specify a WPA3 or WPA2 password and a network name, to something other than your phone model name. This tutorial assumes you are using an Android phone similar to mine, which may include Samsung, Google, Galaxy, Note, Pixel, Motorola, Edge, Razr, HTC, Huawei, Nubia, Motorola, nothing phone, Oppo, Poco, Redmi, Vivo, Xiaomi, Asus, Zenfone, Cherry, Flare, and CMF smartphones.
