I'm having problems with the amplifier not working a while back when a vrchat update happen it will not amp I'm wondering am I doing it right

The settings really depend on how you want it to work.
If you just want them to be heard within the room, youd turn the voice far distance up so that the red sphere is a bit bigger than the room
if you want them heard throughout the whole world, set the voice far distance to like 99999
normally i turn the gain down a bit so they dont overpower everyone else when they talk globally, but if you want that you can turn it up
if you turn voice near up it'll make the person sound like to any listener within that distance sound like the speaker is talking directly into their ear like they are 'near'. So i avoid turning that up most of the time because its very loud.

👍 Yeah, it takes a little playing around to get just right, I find. The way the VRC voice stuff works is pretty finicky.
I find after a point in volume it stops turning the amped person up and it actually just turns everyone else down while they're talking, which i think is the gain?

since VR chat added their audio settings like people can controleverything and some other stuff I'm like I've been having problems
