We’ll go through everything from enabling Secure Folder, setting up biometric security, and moving files or apps into your secure space. Whether you're hiding personal photos or work docs, this quick tutorial has you covered.
How To Set Up Secure Folder On Galaxy Z Flip 7 (Create Secure Folder Samsung Z Flip 7)
Step 1: Launch the Settings app, then scroll down and tap on “Security and Privacy” to access security features. Here, tap on "More Security Settings".
Step 2: Locate the “Secure Folder” option and tap on it to launch the setup process for the Secure Folder. Select "Continue" to both proceed and give permissions. The Secure Folder will begin being created.
Step 3: Choose a secure folder lock type. Select a PIN, password or pattern and proceed to set it up as usual.
Step 4: You can also choose to toggle On fingerprints, as well as "Allow Lock Reset With Samsung Account" if you so choose. Tap on "Next" to go to the newly created Secure Folder, with the default apps added on there.
Step 5: Tap on the "+" icon to select additional apps that you want protected by the secure folder. Choose an installed app or download one from the Galaxy or Play Store. Then tap on "Add".
Step 6: Use the 3-dot vertical dot menu to sort, lock and exit, encrypt, add files and customize the Secure Folder. Here, you can also gain access to the Secure Folder settings.
Step 7: Once you’ve configured the settings, tap on “Lock and Exit” to go back to the home screen
Step 8: In the app drawer, find the Secure Folder app and tap on it. Enter the lock screen type you chose to access apps, files, and documents hidden in there.
