If you would like you can try using this little command file to start this for you. It will also keep two backups of the "world" folder. It follows just the default settings found on Minecraft's website.\n\nPLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT!\n\nDownload it here: http://adf.ly/4w5C8\n\nTo use it simply place the file "Server Start.command" in the same folder as "minecraft_server.jar" then double click on the "Server Start.command" file.\n\nIf it gives a message along the lines that you do not have the permissions to use it, open up Terminal and type "sudo chmod +x " and drag the file "Server Start.command" file onto the Terminal window and press enter. It may ask for your password, if it does, enter it and press enter, then try starting it again.\n\nPlease go to the Minecraft wiki and search for answers to your questions or the official Minecraft forums before asking here.\n\nIf you get the message "unable to access minecraft_server.jar" you are not in the same directory as the file you need to start. Use the command "cd" with the path to your server's folder. If you wish for me to explain it, go to the 12:00 mark.\n\nDo not ask me how to forward your ports on your router. All you need is you external IP address (which can be found at icanhazip.com) and the instructions for your router or if you do not have a router and are connected directly to your modem, all you should need is your external IP address.\n\nHope this helps, and have a nice day.
