How To Setup & Use Mobile Hotspot On Samsung Phone - Easy Solution | HTG
Setting up and using a mobile hotspot on a Samsung phone allows you to share your mobile data connection with other devices, such as laptops, tablets, or other smartphones. This feature is especially useful when Wi-Fi isn’t available, and you need to provide internet access to other devices.
To set up a mobile hotspot, open the Settings app on your Samsung device. Make sure you have an active SIM card with mobile data enabled. Next, go to Connections and select Mobile Hotspot & Tethering. Tap on Mobile Hotspot and turn it on.
Once enabled, you can customize your hotspot settings by tapping on Mobile Hotspot. Here, you can change the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and set a password to secure your connection. If someone wants to connect, they can enter the password manually or scan the QR code displayed on your screen.
For advanced settings, you can check the bandwidth options to switch between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, depending on what your phone supports. You can also enable Auto Hotspot, which allows trusted devices linked to your Samsung account to connect automatically.
To quickly turn the hotspot on or off, swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Quick Settings panel and tap the Hotspot toggle.
By following these steps, you can easily set up and share your mobile data with other devices.
