How to share a folder on the local network on a Mac

A short tutorial on sharing a folder with other computers on the local network using a Mac. Also, in System Preferences-Sharing, check File Sharing and then click Options. Make sure that "Share using AFP" is checked. (This allows Microsoft Windows computers to see the shared files.)
