How to Show Your Controller on Stream with OBS (Display Controller Inputs Overlay)
OBS Studio allows you to use browser sources to add overlays and images to your streams. You can use a browser source to show your controller inputs in the form of an overlay. You can use the controller overlay in both live streams, and video recordings.
Setting up the controller overlay allows you to use Xbox, Playstation and other gamepads. Each game pad has different skins and appearances that you can use. The chosen skin can be used in OBS.
When setting up your overlay you can remap the buttons appropriately. This is useful if you’re using a pro controller that has paddles, or you’ve changed your binds. When you press a paddle, the assigned button will show on the controller.
The controller overlay will be reactive with your button press and joystick movement. All of the inputs that you make will show in your OBS stream or video.
