In this beginners guide video I show you how to edit your cfgspawnabletypes.xml DayZ Community Server file, so that the bulletproof vests, the Plate Carriers, will spawn in complete with holster, pouches, and a frag and a smoke grenade.

I also show you how to edit your types.xml file so that all of the different types & colors of Plate Carriers - the normal, green, black, camo & winter, will spawn in as standard military ground loot on your DayZ Community Server for PC, PlayStation & Xbox Consoles.

This method works for Chernarus, Livonia, Sakhal & custom maps.

Please note that if you use the types.xml code snippet, the plate carriers will then not spawn in other places such as the underground & locked bunkers.
