I'm several hours into Atomfall, so I thought this would be a good time to share what type of game Atomfall is & what to expect if you want to play it, what games Atomfall is like, and how it plays.

First up, even though Atom Fall is by Rebellion, it's definitely not Sniper Elite. Atomfall is more like a super condensed Fallout 4 or Stalker 2, with an emphasis on exploration & discovery through walking around the open-world and talking to characters.

I'd describe Atomfall as a first-person, open world, post apocalyptic, retro, sci-fi horror mystery adventure game.

Shooting isn't a highlight of Atomfall, but the detective work and atmosphere are. This game is almost like an open world Resident Evil without the puzzles,
but we do have crafting, RPG like leveling up and plenty of back-tracking & visiting the same objectives.

I'd say that if you are a big fan of the more wordy quests in Fallout or Stalker, then Atomfall is a must-buy, but perhaps for the rest of us who aren't quite sure, perhaps wait for a sale, because it's definitely worth buying cheap.
