Steps:
- Open up the settings app on your phone.
- In settings tap connections.
- Then select ‘data usage’.
- Tap ‘Mobile data usage’.
- Tap on the app that you would like to turn off background data usage for.
- Then tap on the toggle to the right of ‘allow background data usage’ to turn it off.
- When off the toggle will be grey.
- You can do this to as many apps as you like.
