Bluetooth eliminates the need for direct cable connection as well as emailing to yourself which involves uploading attachments and downloading them as well but with file size limitations. With Bluetooth, you can send and receive several large files from connected devices!

Phone and computer need to be paired first:

04:56 - Send file from phone to computer
Bluetooth icon can be enable by going to Bluetooth settings then More Bluetooth settings then Show icon.
First set computer to receive files from Bluetooth so it is ready to accept transfers by right clicking the Bluetooth icon and receive files. Then send from files from phone. Share then Bluetooth then the device.

08:33 - Send file from computer to phone
On computer, right click on the file(s) and show more options and send to Bluetooth device and select the device to send to and then begin transfer of files.

Note that Phone Link app is not necessary to transfer files. It is only for screen recording purposes.
