When using an Xbox controller connected via Bluetooth to your Android phone, you can easily turn it off using the following steps:

Locate the Xbox button on the center top of your controller.
Press and hold the Xbox button for six seconds.
The controller should now turn off.

To turn it back on, simply press and hold the Xbox button again, and it will automatically re-connect to the last available Bluetooth connection1. Easy, right? ๐ŸŽฎ

Remember that holding the Xbox button down for 15 seconds will perform a full hard reboot of the controller, which may help resolve any rare firmware issues
