Steps:

- Open up the settings app and scroll down to photos, it's quite far down.

- When you find it, tap on it.

- My icloud photos are already switched off, but if it is switched on it will show green. To switch it off just tap the toggle so it goes from green to grey.

- iCloud backup of your photos will now be disabled
