How to Undervolt GPU 2024 - NVIDIA
High temperatures shorten the life of your components. So in this tutorial I'll show you how to underclock your graphics card (GPU) to make it run cooler and quieter.
Be careful!
For this purpose, I use an RTX 3060 Ti graphics card with GDDR6X memory and MSI Afterbutner, Heaven Benchmark 4.0 and Superposition Benchmark software.
In the first step, it is important to determine the highest constant frequency of your graphics chip and the voltage at which it is currently operating. After doing this, subtract 25 from the resulting voltage in mV, adjust with the MSI Afterbutner and run a tuning test. Do this step until the stability test crashes. Note the voltage when the test crashes and add 25 mV. This should be the lowest voltage point your GPU runs at.
Don't forget to test with other benchmark tests as well as your favorite games! :)
