How to Upgrade A Laptop CPU

Can I upgrade my CPU (Processor) on my Laptop? This will depend whether its a socket CPU and not surface mounted to the motherboard.

Also another factor is whether they had a Intel i7 version for that laptop or motherboard. The BIOS plays a bit part as well because you need to make sure the BIOS supports i3, i5, or i7 CPU.

My laptop was a Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook AH531 and it supports i7 processor. There are a few i5 and i7 that work with this laptop.

Do your research and make sure before you buy the CPU.
