=====================================================

This is a tutorial video describing how to upload Stranded Deep Maps to the Steam Workshop.

============
Requirements:
============
- Windows PC with Steam installed
- a way to open and extract ZIP files
- a way to create and edit JSON files (any texteditor works as long as you have file extensions visible in Windows)

======================
STEP #1: Preperations
======================
- Create a Folder in wich to work in, eg:
"C:\tmp"
- Download the Stranded Deep Workshop tool under:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1PRhV_ZAkxc2TSe0m9nQXWBR2G8Ha2ve3

- extract the contents and open the Workshop tool "strandeddeep-workshop-tool.exe"
- set it aside for now

===================
STEP #2: Content
===================
- Find the map you want to upload under:

"%userprofile%\documents\Stranded Deep\Data\Editor\Maps"

- copy the entire map folder, not just it's contents, to the working folder created under step #1
- provide a preview image in .JPG format in the working folder as well, name it as you like (eg. "Preview.jpg")
- create a .JSON file in the working folder (eg. "upload.json")

==========================
STEP #3: JSON CONTENTS
==========================
- open and edit your .JSON file:
(in this example I assume that the working directory is "C:\tmp", edit the JSON content to match your values)

{
"Title": "YOUR MAP TITLE",
"Description": "YOUR MAP DESCRIPTION",
"ChangeNote": "Version 1.0",
"PreviewFile": "C:\\tmp\\Preview.jpg",
"ContentPath": "C:\\tmp",
"PublishedFileId": 0,
"Tags":
[
"Maps"
]
}

- don't forget to save the .JSON file ;)

======================
STEP #4: UPLOADING
======================
- go back to the Stranded Deep Workshop tool we set aside earlier (or open it again if you closed it)
- wait until it's ready, then type:
(using my example path here again, edit to match yours)

upload_item "C:\tmp\upload.json"

That should be it ;D
