How to use Arma II Editor
Alt+E to enter Editor from main Menu.
Find spot on map to edit.
Click "Center" in menu on right.
Double click on map to place center.
Click "Group" in menu on right.
Double click map to place group.
Click "Unit" in menu on right.
Double click map to place unit.
None of those steps matter at all. Place anything anywhere. You must have those 3 items placed to continue. They will be all deleted later, they have nothing to do with the finished product.
In 3D mode, click "Vehicle" in menu on right.
Double click map to open "vehicle" menu. Everything, buildings and all, is a vehicle.
Pick "vehicle" and click "ok" to place.
Click and drag to move object.
Shift click and drag to rotate.
Alt click and drag to adjust height.
Finish placing all items.
Save, load, adjust items that moved. Save, load, check again.
Save and be done.
File will be found here
C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\Character Name\missions
Or here if you haven't changed your name in Arma...
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\ArmA 2\missions
