Game terms
Short Game: if checked, players are defeated if all their buildings are destroyed (except garrisoned buildings and captured tech buildings like hospitals and oil derricks). If not, players are defeated only if all their buildings and units are destroyed.
MCV Repacks: if checked, MCVs can deploy and undeploy at will. If not, once they are deployed, they remain in their ConYard form.
Crates Appear: self-explanatory.
Multi Engineer: enables the old Red Alert 1 mechanic of requiring multiple engineers to capture a building
Ingame Allying: enables players to create teams after the game starts from the Diplomacy menu
No Dog Engineer Kills: if checked, dogs can't kill engineers. Don't know why anyone would check that.
Brutal AI: probably an edited AI that's harder than the usual Brutal. Didn't test.
Destroyable Bridges: self-explanatory.
Superweapons: self-explanatory.
Build Off Ally ConYards: if checked, players on the same team can build in each others' bases
Red Alert 2 Mode: CnCNet doesn't directly support RA2. This option is a makeshift alternative - it runs a modified instance of Yuri's Revenge where Yuri's faction is disabled and all YR-specific units, buildings and support powers do not appear.
No Spawn Previews: probably disables players from seeing where their enemies' starting positions are

GAME TYPE
Battle: Regular gameplay. Allies can be made during the match or in the setup menu at will.
Free For All: No alliances at all.
Meat Grinder: All players are limited only to basic ground units.
Unholy Alliance: Players start with all MCVs.
Naval War: Naval battles only.
Team Alliance: Teams obligatory.
Cooperative: Special co-op missions (think Red Alert 3, only with separate missions this time).
Land Rush: All players start near the center of the map and have to manually search for a good starting position.
Megawealth: Ore mining is disabled, players need to capture Oil Derricks to get money.
