144Rabbits are a pretty decent starting point when you're new in a survival playthrough and need to start collecting some pelts, meat, and guts.
A great practice for this to maximize your time and efficiency is to use snares. Set up 4-7 snares in a rabbit grove over rabbit footprints and come back after a few hours.
You'll most likely have breakfast, lunch and dinner waiting for you. Be sure to use the guts to get line and once you've collected some hooks you'll be able to fish!
