How to use symbolic linking for config files: CS2, TF2, Quake, goldsrc and any other config files
Backup and transfer your config files easily by using symbolic links to keep them all in one directory. In this video i show how to use the Link Shell Extension to place symbolic links of config files in the game directory. This works for any config file in any game or other application. You can do symbolic links through the Windows console but this method is easier. You can backup using Dropbox or other methods but git works well for me.
