Hi!

Some games share the same issues under Wine, this is because many games are developed using the same Engine (such as Unreal Engine, Chrome Engine, etc..).

So if you understand the Engine problems you automatically know what problems its games are going to suffer.

For example with Unreal Engine 3 almost every game need a .NET3.5 or 4.0 override using winetricks.
This can save you a lot of time instead of looking for a solution for every single UE3 game.

to use winetricks:

WINEPREFIX=~/prefix winetricks -q package1 package2 package3 etc..

the "-q" (quet mode) option bypasses all installer hassle and install the package straight
