How to Use YouTube Mercury from StreamElements
3Want to learn how to use Mercury from StreamElements? In this tutorial, ill show you how to use the server and make your videos more dynamic. This is for those who want more engagement in videos. Features include Patreon integration, Discord, latest subs, and more

Steps to get started
---------------------------------
1) streamelements.com - press the "Get Started Button" where it says "Make your YouTube Videos come to life"
2) Connect your YouTube channel and watch the brief intro video
3) Select "My Videos" in the left side bar menu
4) Find a video you want to use and select "Add Dynamic Widgets"
5) The description of the video you selected will be on the left side while the widgets will be on the right side. Look for a place or create a section you want to place a widget. Once you do, drag and drop your widget from the right side to the description. I would make a label like "Channel Goal:" and then place the widget for channel goal on the same line
6) Once you are done click on "Apply to Video". If you are editing it later, press the "Save Changes" button
7) Go to the video itself to see it for yourself in the description. You will see it will be updated for you. You can edit the description at anytime from the Mercury or from YouTube, but you need to update certain widgets in the Mercury dashboard

8) My Video Shoutout Feature : This should be used for videos that you edit so that you can properly thank them for subscribing, being a Patreon Member, etc. Add this video into the video you are editing. Its a .webm file format
9) Tipping Settings Feature: Connect your Paypal to take tips/donations via tipping link. NOTE: Only paypal will be working right now. It is in beta
10) Connections: Connect your Discord and/or Patreon to allow you to give shout outs to those members in the Spotlights and/or video shout outs feature
11) My Template Feature: Have a template you want to apply to future videos for the dynamic widgets? Use this to create one and apply to a video
