Using this tip can help you stop apps from using too much memory on your Android phone and actually make your Android phone run faster.

Viewing the memory usage on your Android phone now requires developer options access. Please proceed with this tutorial at your own risk.

This android tutorial requires Android 8.0 and up or Android Oreo, and Android P. This is because Google decided to hide the memory information in Android 8.0. This Android tutorial should work on all android phones or tablet brands such as Samsung, Motorola, Moto, Pixel, HTC, LG, BLU, Sony, and many more.

Follow the steps below to view RAM and Memory usage on Android:
1. Go to the Android settings on your phone or tablet
2. Scroll down and select Apps
3. Once in Apps select a app to view it's permissions
4. In the App Info, select Permissions
5. You are now in the app permissions and can view and change all of the requested app permissions.
