1This Throwback Thursday feature is Descent, a classic 3-D space shooter by Parallax Software! It's just as good as I remember! If only there was a remastered version with better graphics (excluding 3rd party versions).
IT TURNS OUT THERE IS! (kind of)
Developer Descendent Studios held a successful kickstarter for Descent Underground, a reimagined Descent game, which unfortunately met some legal snags with the Publisher in 2019. DS won the initial ruling, but the case has been appealed. With no updates on final ruling since December 2021, it's safe to assume the case is still pending, but DS indicates they still plan to (hopefully) release their game Soon™.
