While I've always had fun watching others play the EDF series, this is my first experience playing them myself. And I gotta say, it's as fun as it looks. Bombastic, massive battles against bugs, mutants, spaceships and beyond with literal hundreds of enemies and enough explosions to make Michael Bay faint. And best of all - in my opinion - is the narmy voice acting with reminds of an older era of games where serious dialogue was read so poorly that it was really comical - and it brings a smile to my face to hear all the soldiers yammering away with the best worst lines. This is a silly but fun treat.
