calling all indoor plant enthusiasts, particularly those well-versed in hoya. tides is repotting his hoya krimson queens in attempts to save their little green souls. i've watched extensive videos, read blogs and even the reddit /rplantclinic forum. some of my hoya have survived upwards of eight months in a north-eastern facing window (sadly, the only window in my flat), but many have either perished or are currently in that state. here are the common symptoms observed in all my hoya: yellowing leaves that eventually drop, bone-dry, brittle and woody to the touch stems, and pruney, wrinkly undersides to the leaves (both new and old growth). the majority of them are snug (but not rootbound) in their pots and are growing in the regular with some barky or coco chip bits potting soil they came in or have been repotted by myself into tiny clay LECA balls or larger pumice rocks. also, growlights are not an options because i've a dog that i cannot trust to be alone with the growlights while i'm at work. any pointers you have to offer would be greatly appreciated.
