HP Stream 11 (Signature Edition)-Unboxing
Here is the unboxing to the $200 laptop by HP, the Stream 11. This unboxing is being uploaded about a week after it was filmed so I can talk a small bit about how it performs.
For what I'm going to be using it for (school work and watching some videos, mainly), it's really nice. With Windows 8.1, the start-up is amazingly fast (one of the biggest reasons why I like Win 8.1) and the computer runs smoothly if you don't have many open processes.
YouTube video (not the audio parts) is a bit choppy sometimes, but that is to be expected on a machine like this. Download speed is a little slow, but it's still perfectly acceptable (or just download it on a better computer and put it in OneDrive storage).
The TouchPad is not that great, at all. Clicking is very hit-and-miss, so I almost exclusively use tapping instead. I had to also turn off Edge Swipes because of the hit-and-miss.
Overall, though, this computer is amazing for the price. With a free year of Office 365 (with 1TB of OneDrive Storage) and a $25 Windows Store Gift Card (expires 90 days after redemption though), it is a steal for only $200. The build quality is fantastic, it rarely gets hot, and it just looks awesome with the color pallets. :D
