Hugo is Set in 1930s Paris, about an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton. Michael Phillips for the Chicago tribune was a huge fan of the film...he said ""Hugo" is big, and it exists mainly to dazzle, but its storytelling ambitions are more modest. I enjoyed it more than many a later Scorsese picture."

Elizabeth Weisman from new York daily news agreed! She said, ""Come and dream with me," a filmmaker pleads in Martin Scorsese's exquisite fantasy "Hugo," offering an invitation that's clearly extended from Scorsese himself."
