Disclaimer: Yes, the game lagspikes. Yes, it does this in-game as well, so I can't do anything about it (but it's much worse when recording). It's killed me a few times.

I'm a bit hesitant to call this game LuaSTG because from the looks of the readme that's the name of both their engine and their circle. Also, the download was taken down because of copyright issues with the assets used, so no download for you.

Anyway, with that said, the game itself is a collection of 16 extra stages which you can play individually on Normal or Lunatic (no Easy or Hard). Once you beat all of them separately you can unlock Marathon Mode, which is exactly what it sounds like. It takes about 3-4 hours to beat, so I won't bother with that one.

The game also includes achievements (generic ones, much like ISC's die-100-times-esque trophies) and challenges. The two challenges specific to this stage are:
1) Not including the initial ring of frogs, capture Nezu's frog "survival" without letting Nezu absorb more than 5 frogs. [This one took quite a bit of effort. I ended up switching to Sanae after experimenting with the shot types a bit.]
2) NMNB Nezu's main fight on Lunatic, last spell not included.

Despite the problems with asset use, I think the gameplay is rather well done. The patterns are mostly solid and (at least for this stage) aren't very bullshit. Then again, maybe this stage is on the easier side...

No spell translations because they're far too esoteric for me to make sense of for the most part. However, I do understand the dialogue.

This run in particular didn't take too much effort to get. While bad RNG can screw you over at times it's not a hard fight overall.
