Hey everybody! Back from Labor Day holiday to dive into my second game from my backlog.

In this long episode (Sorry!) I setup base in Brasil, protect the French, then proceed to knock down the first UFO we see and plunder its booty. Some reason I was hung up on food the whole recording. Might need to eat before recording.

This is the widely known, loved, and recorded XCOM: Enemy Unknown developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games.
It is a tactical turn-based strategy game where you control a secret organization that responds to hostile alien activity by sending squads of soldiers and aircraft to rectify the situation. There is also base building and a technology tree that is expanded by obtaining artifacts from the mollified aliens.

While I have played the base game (never completed) and watched several Let's Play series on it, I haven't played the expansion Enemy Within at all. Too many games, too little attention span.
