I walked. I could do nothing but walk. And then, I saw me walking in front of myself. But it wasn't really me. It was just this boring protagonist randomly deciding to explore and reminisce and do anything other than find his family apparently.

Sorry, I just can't. The interesting story bits are separated by 2-3 minutes straight of just walking. If they cut out 80% of the filler in this game, it might work. It's a shame, because they made beautiful environments for this game.
