Since I had some REALLY good Lv. 1 Boots when I did the mission to get the Roc Boots (https://youtu.be/D-Hw5qcoH0U), I used them for this mission.
Have your characters divide and conquer for the first phase. One will be responsible for grabbing the Fairy in the west and dealing with the Cuccos fighting in a random keep while the other runs up the eastern side and rescues the stranded allied forces. Once they're taken care of, have your second character go over to Ruto so you can switch over and save her if need be while the other take out Darunia in the Enemy Base.
