I AM A PROTECTOR. I SIT ON A BRIDGE. ONE PERSON CAN SEE RIGHT THROUGH ME WHILST OTHERS WONDER WHAT I HIDE. What am I?

This is a well-known riddle. I don’t know who came up with it, so whoever you are, applause! I wanted to make a video where the answer to a riddle could be highlighted in the solution as an anagram to solve, and this one almost fitted the bill, except I had to change the word ‘while’ to ‘whilst’. The video behind the text is “Point of View of a Person Crossing a Footbridge” by Kmeel Stock (provided c/o Pexels), which I ran backwards through Blender so I could play it forwards and backwards to extend the run time, and then put through a green filter in PowerPoint.
