Rick and Morty in Real Life as drawn by an A.I… is TERRIFYING
All images were generated using the Craiyon AI image generator. A few notes: The A.I. just wouldn’t draw Morty as looking anything other than angry or horrified unless I specifically asked it to draw him happy, and even then it was a 1 in 9 chance. Summer was much harder to find matching images for than Beth. I wanted to include the whole Smith Family but it just couldn’t draw Jerry, as it had no idea who he was. Somewhere I can hear him giving a long sad sigh about that.
I wanted to use the Rick and Morty theme but it had to be transformed significantly to be considered fair use. I used Audacity to change the pitch and then merged it with the same track backwards, each on different speakers, so as to emphasise the strangeness of the images. It also shows just how good the theme sounds when played backwards. It’s very odd how the two just seem to work together, like some weird audio palindrome.
