About the game: I am Future is a relaxing survival game about building a cozy rooftop camp amid a flooded post-apocalyptic city. Set up a farm, cook delicious food, dismantle tools for crafting resources, automate chores by recruiting cute robots, and uncover the mystery behind the catastrophe.

My thoughts: I had such high hopes for this one. It looked great and I love the concept but for the life of me, past that initial tutorial, I couldn't remember how to access the build menu. This made me feel like a total idiot who couldn't build anything and I ended up getting frustrated and giving up.

Also, despite having coal to light a fire, the only thing I could make was a salad. The obvious approach of clicking and dragging the coal onto the fire didn't work so goodness knows how you light the fire.

I did however enjoy the bits I was able to do like cutting wood, killing pests, deconstructing items for parts and fixing the place up a bit. Basically all the bits that were easy, I enjoyed.

I hope in the full release they make the build menu easier to find because I still think this game has a lot of potential.
