5Welcome to the Iron Mario 64 Challenge! Here are the rules:
No damage: Taking damage results in an instant loss, except when drowning
Permadeath: Once you die, you must reset the run
No caps or shell: You can't use the Metal Cap or Koopa Shell
No exiting course: You can't leave a level through the menu
No re-entering a stage: Once you enter a stage, you can't re-enter it
Extreme randomizer difficulty: The game is extremely randomized
Green demons: Each main course has an ! box that contains a green demon
