Don't worry. As of this video, my Retron 5 is back to working just like new. Apparently what happened was this. I updated the firmware to v2.5, and the software to v0.3.0. Apparently when Hyperkin released that update, it was because they illegally "borrowed" code to use in the Retron 5, and was forced to change it. In doing so, according to my friend Ray it took two more updates to finally get the console to work again. I wasn't aware of this, and updated it to the wrong version. I then reset my Retron 5, and basically downgraded the firmware, by downloading an older version update file (v2.1) to my console. After doing all that, it's now working just as it was. HUGE thanks to my friend Ray for helping me with this! I really can't thank you enough man! I'll his YT channel at the end of this video. Please go check out, and support his channel!
