Old Aatrox was my favourite champion overall during the time of his existence, so it was expected that I'd dislike any sort of major rework or overhaul to his kit, and it was an infamously unfaithful rework and it's arguable that it didn't succeed in making him easier to balance.
However, the followup rework that involved him losing his revive entirely but getting more healing on passive and ult had me far closer to actually liking New Aatrox, also known as QQtrox, and I made my peace since then.

But a longing will always remain. And if Riot will not allow me to play Old Aatrox, then I shall find a way to do it myself.
(Genuinely I'm fine with the rework since they removed "mutilate" and gave him more healing. It's clear he's been nerfed since but that's still fine. It's the thought that counts. Also I have Gwen now.)
