For years, SoterDave has built a reputation as a so-called “expert” in Chivalry 2 combat mechanics, but let’s be real—his entire teaching style is backwards and broken. He sets up his followers for failure, feeding them incorrect techniques that don’t hold up in real fights. Instead of preparing players to adapt, react, and dominate, he encourages rigid, outdated strategies designed to make his students lose in the long run.

It’s almost as if he wanted his followers to fail… maybe that was his plan all along?

Anyone who’s actually played Chivalry 2 at a high level knows that SoterDave was never as good as he claimed. His cowardly playstyle, his desperate attempts to control the narrative, and his fragile ego made him a joke among top-tier players. Instead of admitting he was wrong, he doubled down on his nonsense—until the Chivalry 2 community turned against him.

And let’s not forget the disturbing allegations that surfaced about him. Before he committed unalive, multiple sources in the Chivalry 2 community came forward with accusations that he was grooming younger members behind the scenes. While some tried to cover it up, the truth always comes out in the end.
