But my kids are city

Some cities are beautiful

I don’t know about this city i’m in
This city when it’s hot
Is gross and it is not
A nice place to be in the least
Loud and obnoxious a cacophony feast
The country is quiet
The city is loud
It’s all my kids have
Known till now
They can just
Accept where they are
While I’m conflicted
In my heart
Some cities are beautiful
Some country roads are ugly as sin
I want my kids to have it all
I don’t know about this city i’m in
The city screams at me
Everywhere I look it’s so ugly
People are mad and angry
It’s not a nice feeling to be
