In this episode of Stardew Valley, I was determined to get ready for the Qi's Kindness quest, so I devised a plan โ gifting everyone rabbit's feet! Though I had a tough choice: sell my existing chickens to make room for more rabbits, or build a second coop? I decided to keep my chickens for now and build a second coop.
I headed over to Pierre and gave him Pierre's Missing Stocklist, which I snagged from Mr. Qi's Walnut Room last episode. Now Pierre sells seeds from all seasons, year-round โ perfect! I couldn't resist and bought 200 parsnip & 200 garlic seeds. So many seeds to plant, but it'll be worth it!
The next morning, I switched to my Vampire Combined Ring for some extra health gain, and guess what? It was Shane's birthday! I hurriedly gathered a hot pepper and gifted it to him, maxing out our friendship.
Off to the Skull Cavern for the Qi's Hungry Challenge! I fueled up with a Spicy Eel and an espresso. I had to be smart, finding staircases and holes to skip levels. I had to be careful not to eat any food to heal, as it would fail the challenge. Thank goodness for my trusty Slime Ring โ no damage from those giant purple slimes!
Deeper and deeper I went, using staircases until I reached level 100. I even stumbled upon a treasure layer that awarded me a rare Auto-Petter. At level 99, I decided to find a staircase naturally for the final climb to level 100. And voila! I completed the Qi's Hungry Challenge, earning 25 Qi Gems.
Leaving the Skull Cavern, I was astonished by the loot I obtained โ 16 omni geodes and 1 prismatic shard! I couldn't resist trading 15 omni geodes for 3 Artifact Troves with the Desert Trader, getting closer to completing the museum with those last 2 artifacts.
Back on the farm, I placed the new Auto-Petter in the barn, but soon it'll go to the second chicken coop Robin is building. I did have a small oops moment โ I passed out in my hallway at 1:50 am, but it was a minor setback.
Next morning, I remembered some fantastic advice from a viewer about trading 10 Radioactive Bars for 1 Galaxy Soul with the Island Trader. I gathered Radioactive Bars and started smelting Radioactive Ore to get more bars. Off to the Island Trader, but alas, he only trades Galaxy Souls on the last day of the month.
I spent the rest of the day mining for Radioactive Ore, and it must have been my lucky day as I found a Qi Gem and got a second Auto-Petter as drops from enemies โ wow! As midnight approached, I returned home with 6 more Radioactive Ore in my inventory, ready for smelting.
Next morning, I planned more placements for crystallariums and eagerly awaited the second chicken coop, complete with Auto-Petters. Before wrapping up the episode, I visited Pierre, and good news โ he now sells seeds year-round thanks to Pierre's Missing Stocklist!
