Dont Even Think online multiplayer gameplay as the werewolf. It sucks they shut this game down. Me and one of my brothers used to play this all the time before they changed the map. After that it wasn't as fun but when the game first came out it was a blast to play with friends. It was glitchy and didn't look all that great but I will never forget how hearing the werewolf howl as a human felt because it was one of few games where I actually felt a little bit of that fear or adrenaline while playing it. I don't normally play horror or scary games because I don't really like that feeling and most horror games use the defenseless or helplessness of your character to make you scared and in this game as a human you were weak but definitely not defenseless. So when you encountered a werewolf or player it was scary but not that kind of helpless scary because if you were close to a friend or had good weapons most of the time you could control or get out of that situation. Horror games usually make you really slow so you have to sluggishly run from a creature that is just slightly slower then you to make you scared or they just put you somewhere really dark and have stuff make noises all around you or jump out at you to mess with you and that gives me that kind of fear that I don’t like. It was different with Don’t Even Think because the fear came from hoping you wouldn’t end up the last team of two or three against a squad of 3 werewolves that would jump you and tear you to pieces without mercy. Even games like the new Predator hunting grounds game can’t get it right and the Predator is one of the few things that I could think of that would actually scare me to have to run from or fight in a survival game. Plus they are a much bigger company with the awesome Predator franchise backing them and it still falls short of this. Hearing the howl of multiple werewolves getting closer and closer while it’s just you and your buddy trapped in a house was terrifying and I had a ton of fun playing this while it was out because of that and playing as the werewolf was pretty fun to if you ever got to play as one. Sometimes I would sit in a lobby for literally 30 minutes and just give up and turn the game off because there wasn’t enough servers to compensate for how many players wanted to play as the werewolves compared to the humans. When you got to actually play as the werewolf though it was pretty fun. You could either go hunt the humans alone or follow the howls of the other werewolf players to team up against the humans.
