Wes Anderson is back with Asteroid City. If you are a fan of his work, you will probably love this film. It's full-blown Wes Anderson. Asteroid City features a great cast, beautiful setting and quirky humor. However, the storyline is lofty and unfulfilling. I had a hard time staying invested in this 3 act play.
A grieving father travels with his tech-obsessed family to a small rural Asteroid City to compete in a junior stargazing event, only to have his world-view disrupted forever.
