With Brock as the first gym leader, I need to level up Pikachu so it has a chance of winning. I plan on using only Pikachu until I can officially begin the challenge. I go through Mt. Moon to pick up a Clefairy that is needed for the first trade. Hopefully I can trade it off at the end of next episode. Then in part 3, the challenge can officially begin.
