I Opened the Walls and Found Something Beautiful is a short, surreal horror experiment in found footage, higher dimensions, and cosmic dread, created in about six weeks. Influenced by Color Out of Space and Condemned, the game is a roughly 30-minute exploration piece meant to be played in one sitting.

This game is such an enjoyable experience because TheMercifulZeus changes the formula of just walking around spooky hallways and adds a slight puzzle element to the entirety of the world he created. You can move the world horizontal and vertical to progress through the game, very much reminded me of the Old House from Control, I would love to know if that was an inspiration. I cannot wait to see what is next for TheMercifulZeus."
