2“SPONGE is a short first-person horror experience all about collecting CDs and navigating carpets… and it’s way creepier than you’d guess. There’s no flashy jump scare—just lingering sound design, quiet dread, and that one line: ‘No matter how calmly the wind howls, you are not alone.’
Developed by yuri-engine and Isaac in just about a month using Unreal Engine, this game packs an unsettling punch in under 30 minutes. My reaction… well, you’ll see why I’m still thinking about that ambient tension.
