The Nintendo DS gave us classics — but it also gave us this. In this video, I dive headfirst into some of the worst, weirdest, and most broken games to ever disgrace Nintendo’s dual screens. From Hell’s Kitchen to Cory in the House, these are the DS games that made me question everything.
Whether it’s lazy TV tie-ins, bizarre simulator games, shovelware racing disasters, or the literal worst Pokémon game ever released, I played through it all so you don’t have to. And yes — some of these were somehow greenlit by major publishers. Others feel like lost dares from another timeline.
This video features everything from forgotten DS exclusives like Wine no Hajimekata, to infamous meme legends like Cory in the house and Homie Rollerz. I also look at adaptations gone horribly wrong — including King Kong: The Official Game, House M.D., and a Crash Bandicoot game so bad it nearly broke me.
While the DS was home to some of Nintendo’s best titles, it also had one of the largest libraries of shovelware in gaming history. In this episode, I explore how the DS became a breeding ground for low-effort ports, bizarre experiments, and outright broken releases.
