(The initial fix was off camera, this video is just that recreated with me having put back the broken save and redoing the fixing process)

So earlier today my GD stopped booting up. I tried the usual troubleshoot of setting it to compatibility mode for windows 95 but it STILL didn't boot up which confused me. After a while I decided to take out the save files and then gd would finally boot up. I concluded that both CCLocalLevels.dat and CCLocalLevels2.dat stopped working. The last time I backed up my files was 13.6. so I started messing around. I tried combining certain of my current files with other old ones which led me nowhere. At this point I didn't think I would be able to recover my broken saves. Then I had a stupid idea which actually fixed my save files, and is shown in the video.

I still can't believe THIS is what let gd boot up. If any of you are able to somehow decode the save files, let me know what I did, because I literally had no idea what I was doing, I was just messing around really LMAO

Also sorry for how incompetent I was with speaking lol, I have no experience with unscripted talking but I just wanted to show how stupid this fix was anyways.
