I Speedrun Making a Better Arrow than Avowed
I really hate that arrows are just projectiles that continue on forever until deletion in Avowed. Attention to details is very important to people who play these kinds of games. Avowed to me feels like a school project submitted by a kid who did the bare minimum to pass and that's insulting to me as a fan of this genre of imsim.
This was a basic "I bet I can do this really fast" challenge to myself. I knew how easy it was to do. Gravity by default is a tick mark and you adjust the weight of it. So I took the default bullet projectile that Unreal provides as a DEMO to making projectiles and edited it to act like an arrow
Sorry for the scuff I am not used to streaming videos with multiple screens and forgot to take my code off the screen. I cut it to show what's going on shortly after. But all the code and the time it took me to make it and compile it is uncut.
